I Could Spend All My Money On Etsy!

Seriously! Have you seen all the crafty things?! And...the prices are unbeatable. You are supporting a local artist somewhere and not a big box store..which is uber-awesome! I am changing one daughter from a little girl room  to a big girl room, designing for a brand new daughter, and of course always looking for things for the soon-to-be middle daughters room. Here are some things I am obsessing over:

i am in need...

of a lot (ha). seriously, mom and i are going to atlanta in a few weeks to market for salty girls. this is a great excuse to go shopping! since the closing of our saks (and in its place a forever21..yak) i reallllly want  need some things...nothing major. #1 on my list are a pair of nude/naked colored ballet flats..i feel they go with everything. here are the ones that are on my radar to try on:

these alexander mcqueen's are super cool.

they have embossed skulls (which i feel have had their day) but they are so subtle they don't scream at you! these bad boys are $495...little up there.

then you have the never-let-you-down jack rogers. cute. southern. mine. and $198, no guilt!

a girlfriend of mine has similar tory burch's like these. i just am not sure how i feel about the 'scrunch'.

i do however love there is a tiny logo on the back and not a big ass gold plate on the front..good thinkin TB! these are modest at $178, maybe not as 'naked' colored as i wold like!

then on to wallets...now when most of you need to purchase a new wallet it is no big deal. you are thinking why are you a freak about your wallet. well because of a lot. and i mean i pack a lot of stuff. 3 different checkbooks, keys, cell phone (bc who wants to lug their handbag into cvs?), lots of receipts..yadda freakin yadda....so i need big, huge, passport style wallet. here is one i love at saks:

i love the bright summery colors in this diane von furstenberg continental wallet a lot. in a previous post about saylors bedroom i noted how i love orange and fuschia together..well...helllllo!!!

and even though i need to see it in person..i think one has enough space for all of my things!

Inspiration for Saylors Bedroom!

Eventhough we have a while before transitioning into a big girl bed for SaySay, I can't help but spend hours oogling over upholstered headboards! She will have one..but I love so many..can't choose! We are however needing an awesome dresser, like asap! Marlee Kate will need the existing changing table in her nursery. Here are some images i love!!

I want to be doing this right now....

I am really ready for summer....really, really ready. I want to be walking down the path of 25th to be met by hot sand and the ocean. This winter has been brutal! I am not a cold weather person what-so-ever. This summer is going to be great for many reasons:

Reason 1) Marlee Barron will be here the beginning of June

Reason 2) Madalyn will be graduating Kindergarten :( sniff sniff...but it is exciting!

Reason 3) Saylor will be so FUN at the Beach this year!

Reason 4) Salty Girls will be busy and have lots of cute swimwear!!!!!

Reason 5) Our dearest friends brand new baby, Rylan Dyer, will be around 6 months old and we will have lots of fun with all the kids around!

So, Summer.....you are welcome with open arms at any time, kthanksbye!

Is Christmas Break Over Yet?

We all had a great time together during the Christmas break, but really....2 weeks?
On December 21st, we were able to find out the sex of baby barron #3 and ... it's .... a.... GIRL! There were mixed feelings on this ..mostly from Miss Madalyn Mae :) She ran to her bedroom and was crying hysterically because she wanted a 'brodder'..but by the next morning she was better and a little more understanding, if that isn't one for the baby book I don't know what is!

Saylor is now officially a 'walker' and getting better every day. She has a new word: dabadabadabadaba, sort of reminds me of The Flinstones, yaba daba doo!

Light Conversation With Maddy

Maddy and I were out running around on Saturday, when she starting asking me about jobs and money...and why you need both. I answered with the most reasonable answer I could think of...#1 you need money so you can buy the things you want and need...#2 you get that money from your job/career. She then told me she didn't want to have a job when she got older...I asked her how she would get money. She very seriously told me that she would just USE HER HUSBANDS WALLET...ahhhhhhh.....the mind of a 5 year old.
